Welcome to Children of the World
Guatemala program. We have a privilege to work with a reputable
attorney in Guatemala City. All of our children
are direct relinquishments and remain in foster homes until
adoptive parents pick them up. Currently, boys and girls
are available, but boy referrals seem to arrive quicker.
Due to the fact that we work with an attorney, not orphanages,
majority of children are infants, but toddlers may be requested
as well.

| The current projection is a referral for approved
applicants three to four months after their documents are
forwarded to Guatemala. The family usually can travel to
Guatemala five to six months after they have accepted the
referral. Family generally remains in Guatemala for four business
days. In case the adoptive family cannot travel due
to personal situation or preferences, adoptive child can be
escorted to the United States.
