Children of the World is blessed to have had a long relationship with the People’s Republic of China. We acquired our license there in 1996 to begin placement of children in loving, approved homes. Mrs. Hou Jing Dong (Doris) lives in Beijing and has been on staff of Children of the World since we were first licensed in China. Doris reviews each dossier before it is turned into the China Center of Adoption Affairs (CCAA). She is also our bilingual translator and travels with each group as they complete the process in China.
